Telemedicine Robot Prototype for Covid 19 Patients

Published on November 24, 2023

During the COVID-19 outbreak, I developed a tele-medicine robot for patients at Sharda Hospital. Amidst the pandemic, although we were safe, I felt a responsibility to give back to society. My team and I created a basic tele-medicine robot, allowing doctors to remotely check COVID-19 patients using a simple line follower mechanism.

The robot, equipped with a small onboard computer for online meetings, underwent testing at Sharda Hospital on live patients. Personally, in full P.P.E. gear, I visited the COVID ward to install the robot. Witnessing the relief on patients' faces as they communicated with relatives and doctors brought a profound sense of satisfaction.
